Terrible Service ever since Telus took over

We have to wait 1-2 hours on the phone for a human! We have been with ADT for a number of years and this last year has been terrible. Our security system is not working properly. You have sent out several people to fix the problem but the problem is not fixed. We are not able to set the security when we leave as it works one day and not the next. We have not had any texts sent to our phone since the weekend. We did an upgrade that did not work. ADT/Telus is too difficult of a company to deal with. If we don't get someone to get our security running the way it is supposed to then we are left with no choice but to move on. We do not have the time to be on the phone waiting for someone from who knows where to answer - your customer service is the *pits*! Being that I am the one that takes care of the payable's I need someone in your Company who knows how to correct the problems and that person has to talk to my husband Larry at the phone number you have on file.

Payments being taken after service cancelled

We moved from Sault Sté. Marie on Dec. 16 and our system was to quit then ADT was notified of this as soon as we had a moving date in November. My husband checked our bank account and payments are still being withdrawn. We will cancel this at our bank but you owe us a refund for half of Dec. and all of January. This is total incompetence and there is more. If this is not resolved, we will take legal action.

I cant even explain all the problems I've had with my security cameras. Quality sucks bad at night. Want to cancel so bad but now I'm stuck. Also doesn't record properly

I have tried now for over 2 and a half years to cancel this contract with them which was for a security system within my home.I have had many calls from them to contact support as my unit is not work

I have received many phone calls from them saying my system was not working properly. I have tried many times to call the number that was given to me. I think they should reimburse for the cost of this unit over the past 2.5 years. I have taken it down over this 2.5years ago or longer. I do not require it any more. I was awakend at 3:30 in the morning. Obviously frightening Checked all doors...all shut tight and locked They haven't told me why and haven't responded to email I am afraid to turn the alarm on The lady I talked to was less than helpful

Failure to show up for scheduled appointment

On Sept 7, 2021 booked an appointment for Sept 17, 2021 at a 5 hour window from noon to 5pm. No one showed at 4:00pm so I called. Was told technician would be there by 5:00pm. At 4:45pm got a call and was told he couldn't make it. KEPT ME WAITING AND WASTED 5 HOURS FOR NOTHING. Called back to reschedule and the phone call took another 1.5 hrs. TOTAL DISRESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR TIME.

Major issues with third party dealer of ADT

Nightmare of experience with third party dealer, threatened and lied to and then this sales manager actually booked a service call one day after removal of his equipment that did not properly work and also he had the emergency team call me at 9 pm on a Saturday night which was three days after removal, blocked my number and made my life miserable!!!

We were robbed, the system was on and alert for any movement inside, so should have been triggered. We called ADT, they sent investigators, technicians, and found the system data was ... missing. st The patio glass was broken, we had to deal with them to change the glass.

READ REVIEWS, ADT IS DECEPTIVE AND OFFER POOR EQUIPMENT AND SERVICE. During the sales pitch I was sold a 90-day money-back guarantee if I was not satisfied. From the start, nothing worked right, and I tried to cancel but was told I cannot. First during the installation, the tech showed up no mask, the apt was set at 12am so no set time, and no ladder. He climbed my shelves and furniture to. Put up sensors. I had the base plan and asked for improved equipment, he raised my service to the next level but told.me I didn't get more than the base equipment, I would have to pay extra. The sales person told me the upgrades to equipment came with the next level of service. He asked me to sign his cell phone confirming the installation. It turns out, signing the cell phone is also signing a service contract that they claim only allows 3 days from date of install to cancel. Well the sensors fall off the windows, the alarm went off without being set and every time you opened the door, a tamper alarm goes off. I reached out and explained all issues and they confirmed I have 90 days to cancel on the phone. The tech comes out, confirms it was a bad install and I have a 90-day cancellation period. He said he would tell his manager and I got a number to call. When I called I was informed of the new 3 day cancellation that was signed during the installation. Signed on his cell phone. I am fighting them on this as it is deceptive and they didnt install a working system so their part of the agreement was never fulfilled. They acknowledge that I was told the 90 day guarantee, all the issues as they have them recorded in thier system, acknowledge they never called to see I we were safe or ok. ADT also said they did not have to install a working system to start the snow 3 day cancellation process. Nearly all the people I spoke to were very unprofessional, told me they confirm the issues but will not honor the 90 day money back guarantee unless they determine the system cannot be fixed. I explained that hardware isnt the same nly issue, the service is terrible and I do not feel secure with thier system and they do not respond to alarms like they should. They didnt care. Their only response is they are not ho boring the money back guarantee and I will remain under contract. I am fighting them and warn everyone not to use ADT. I have read multiple negative reviews and thier average rating is 1 star.

Impossible to reach them

I had cancelled my home telephone landline service, which my alarm was using for monitoring. I called ADT to notify them and to offer me another service for monitoring instead of a landline. They were impossible to get in touch with. After months of trying, they send me a bill stating an overdue account. They did not even acknowledge that they were not actually monitoring my home since the landline was disconnected, After going through this site, they finally replied. I canceled my services with ADT and never going back. The worst customer service ever !
